An original pencil drawing/water colour painting of Kitri from the ballet, Don Quixote, a ballet by Marius Petipa first performed in 1869.
The artwork was first drawn in detail and then given a water-colour wash and completed with some gold leaf to add some decoration to the skirt! (see the 2nd picture where the gold leaf catches the sun).
Sold unframed.
